Speaker Objectives: Participants will gain knowledge in…

1.     Describing the principles of quality improvement (QI) methodology and their relevance to personal and professional self-care practices.

2.     Identifying common barriers to effective self-care and their impact on well-being and performance.

3.     Applying QI tools such as PDSA cycles, key driver diagrams, and SMART goals to develop and evaluate self-care strategies.

4.     Designing a personal self-care improvement plan using data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement concepts.

5.     Promoting a culture of wellness and resilience by integrating QI methods into daily routines and leadership practices.

PRESENTERS:

Amy Bell, DNP, RNC-OB, NEA-BC, CPHQ, FAWHONN
Amy is the Associate Director for the DNP Program and an Assistant Professor for Wake Forest University School of Medicine, Department of Academic Nursing, part of Advocate (Atrium) Health. Prior to her full-time academic appointment, she served as the Assistant Vice President for Performance Improvement for Atrium Health. She has worked for Atrium Health for 30 years.

Tinisha Lambeth, DNP, APRN, NNP-BC
Tinisha is the Director of the Doctor of Nursing Practice Program at Wake Forest University School of Medicine, Department of Academic Nursing and a seasoned neonatal nurse practitioner with over 20 years of NICU experience. She earned her MSN and DNP from Duke University and has led quality improvement efforts since 2012. She is passionate about guiding DNP scholars to lead evidence-based practice, influence policy, and drive healthcare transformation.

Registration with TGCAHQ will give you the registration link for NCAHQ.  You MUST complete the whole process by registering directly with our collaborative partner, who will collect the fees (if applicable) and send you the actual link for the event. (Save it to your calendar!) Do this 2nd step immediately, as some events have set limits and fill up.  Yes...it may seem like a "bit extra" but each association has it's own platform and registration process, so it is the best we have come up with so our members can have great access to amazing quality educational materials.
